A native of Bangladesh, Ms. Zaman is an immigrant herself and having the personal experience of going through the process herself, she understands and can well relate to the anxiety and the emotions involved. Ms. Zaman takes pride in practicing her profession with utmost honesty applying highest level of professional ethics.
Ms. Zaman is member of the State Bar of Michigan in good standing. After acquiring her Bachelors in Law (LL.B.) with honors from the University of Dhaka, she arrived in the U.S. as a foreign student and completed her Masters of Law (LL.M.) degree from Wayne State University, Detroit, MI in 1996. As a law student, Ms. Zaman represented her native country Bangladesh in various international debate and moot court competitions in areas of human rights and won accolades for her performance.
Prior to starting her own practice, Ms. Zaman had been the Senior Associate at various Miami law firms namely Saleh & Associates, P.A., David Hart, P.A., and Maite Hoyos, P.A. as well as at TransNational Legal Services, P.C., in Rochester Hills, MI. She remains "of-counsel" to Saleh & Associates, P.A. Ms. Zaman has been practicing U.S. immigration law for over 14 years. Her areas of practice are primarily employment based, family based, citizenship, I-9 Compliance.
